How much is shipping going to cost me for a grandfather
clock?
We believe in keeping things simple so we charge a set rate of only $69.95 per grandfather
clock and $24.95 per cuckoo clock to any destination in the 48 Continental US
states.

Is there any assembly once I receive my grandfather clock?
Yes, but it won't take long and is truly simple. The only tool needed is a philips
screwdriver to insert 8 machine screws. It will not take you more than 10 minutes
from start to finish. There are excellent instructions and if you have any problem or
questions our toll free number is listed on the main page and the "contact us" page of our
site. We will be glad to assist. We pack our clocks this way for safe shipment
and so we can have them delivered by UPS and not a freight truck that would then cost a few
hundred dollars for delivery. There is nothing technical about the assembly and set
up. All technical parts pertaining to the clock head and clock movement are pre
assembled and require no further attention.

Do the pendulums swing on your

Of course they do...our grandfather clocks are real pendulum clocks. If you stop the
pendulum from swinging the clock stops.

Do your grandfather clocks have a
night time shut off switch for the chime?
No, our grandfather clocks do not have a shut off switch. The tone is however
pleasant.

What kind of movements do your
grandfather clocks have in them?
They have dependable 31 day key wind movements. You wind then once per month.
They are totally mechanical and are NOT battery operated. The movement is driven by
the springs you wind instead of the weights. The chimes are created by two hammers
hitting two chime pin rods. It is hard to beat these dependable
movements.

Why is your grandfather clocks are
priced so cheap?
Our distributor is the wholesale source for these grandfather clocks. He deals in high
volume and low profit margins and you get high quality but not a high
price.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
State law requires Peerless Trading, Inc. to collect 8.5% sales tax on orders shipped to
Nevada addresses. If your order is being shipped to any other state, there is no sales tax
charged.

credit cards. All merchandise is shipped via UPS ground

What is your return
policy?
We will allow clock returns from the customer for a small fee.
If this applies to you then, you must return the clock in its unused condition. Please
return the clock in the original shipping carton within 10 days of receiving it.
We will be happy to issue you full credit (minus a 20% re-stocking and processing fee) for
a returned clock. However, because the distributor provides the clocks tgo you at whole
sale prices for large/bulk orders, they are nonrefundable by him. Customers are to send a
request to , if they ever consider returning their clock. Please
include the phrase “Return Item” in your subject line. After we received your email, we
will contact you within 24-48 hours to provide you with a “Return Authorization
Number.”

SHIPPING DAMAGES:
Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons
are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed
damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier within
10 days to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

a. Each product comes with a
manufacturer's limited warranty. See the product's description for warranty length of
time.
b. The warranty does not cover shipping/charges between the ware house and the
consumer.

PAYMENT:
a. All clocks must be paid in full before shipping. Exception on bulk order with
balance payable 10 days.
b. On bulk orders, shipping charges must b payable in full before shipping id in full, and
the order and balance 2% Net10 days.
